     For millennia spirituality was on the cutting edge of knowledge. For example, there are ritual objects that are hundreds of years old but create binaural beats in the Alpha brainwave range, just as many of today's "meditate like a Zen monk" type products do. Unfortunately, this has not been true during the modern scientific era.

     Scientific research methods and technological knowledge have been applied only sparingly to advancing research into non-symbolic forms of consciousness. In part, this is because modern science assumed a philosophical stance that appeared to be at odds with the claims made by people who experience non-symbolic consciousness.

     However, since the 1960's there have been many serious and highly credible researchers who have tried to work in this area. The problem has been that getting a population of people together for research has been virtually impossible.

     You may be surprised to know that there are many highly experienced scientists who want to make progress on understanding these types of consciousness. They have been waiting for you, and others you know, who experience them.

     With your help, we can make progress. Our primary goal is coordination with researchers world-wide. We're experienced academics and scientists who evaluate proposed projects and collaborate with the other scientists involved. When it makes sense, one of the things we do is match their needs up to our participant database. That's where you come in!

Here's how it works...

 
  • You sign up as a potential participant and provide some basic information allows us to match you up with prospective projects.
  • We very carefully examine and evaluate all studies that are proposed for both their quality and overall purpose. We understand that your time is very valuable and want to make sure that we only recommend the highest quality studies, and the ones that are likely to be the most productive.
  • When projects become available that we feel you might be a good match for, we send you information about them.
  • Projects range from things that can be done at home in a few minutes to on-site research in scientific laboratories.
  • You can select as many or as few projects to participate in as you'd like.
  • We protect your identity and will never disclose it without your permission.
